June is here and you are likely putting together your next 6 months of marketing ideas & adjusting your budget in order to rock the balance of the year. It is key that you make the most out of the next 6 months while the going is good. This is the time that I typically suggest my clients review our marketing plan year-to-date and determine what is working, what is not and how to maximize their budget to achieve their sales or fundraising goals. To that end, download my 6-Month Marketing Checkup from my facebook page (or email me liz@AdTeamLA.com for it) to see how your marketing plan for 2016 is measuring up to your goals.
In addition to the check-up, you will also get my June promotions guide reminding you about June promotion dates that you can use to enhance your marketing results. For more ideas, attend my FREE upcoming workshops or webinars. Tomorrow on 6/9 in Torrance I have 2 Workshops in one morning (10am-noon) featuring an Email Marketing Best Practices—Win the Inbox Battle and Social Media Timesaver Tools to help you get more from Social Media in less time by using online tools and content. Click here for details. For other workshops and webinars, check out my schedule on my website.
While planning your next 6 months marketing, make sure that you consider the action that your leads or prospects can take that will lead to the action you want most (sales, members or donations). It is more important than ever that your website or landing page leads to that action and that those pages are optimized for mobile viewing since google search now prefers to serve up websites on a search that are mobile responsive. They do not want their users to be frustrated with a website, email or landing page that is difficult to read on a smart phone. In addition, if you do a paid search campaign, you will be spending more on those ads as a way to discourage you from advertising with Google if your website or landing page is hard to view on mobile. So check your landing pages.
