As of today, March 10, all business and celebrity pages on Facebook will be turned over to the new format – similar to the profile changes rolled out earlier this year.
Changes include featuring photos at the top of the page and giving your page its own news feed. With photos more prominent, businesses should have the chance to really showcase their work and encourage people to interact that way.
Additionally, page admins will start receiving notifications when fans interact with their page, similar to how users do when friends interact with their profile.
Finally, the new pages offer businesses the chance to like other businesses, creating partnerships and symbiotic connections to others. Have a supplier you work with? Help them help you by liking their Facebook page. Let your customers know what businesses you support.
