It is February 2012. Has your Email Marketing list grown since 2011? How many new contact do you want to achieve? Did you increase your Facebook “likes” year to year?
Everyday, I am asked how companies can increase their reach through Social Media and Email Marketing. So it makes sense that I have collected a list of actions you can take to increase that reach.
Before you start however, ask yourself what your goal is? By how much do you want to increase your list, or in the case of Social Media, your “likes” or “followers”? Also what action in your mind constitutes a success? Is it a visit to your website? Is it “liking” your page? Is success clicking on “order” at your shopping cart? Make sure you set a reasonable goal, before you try to achieve it. Then take the following steps to help you reach your goals.
TIPS TO GROW YOUR CONTACTS
1. Start with looking at your email list and dividing it into separate lists. Start with a past customer list, then add a prospects list, then if you have been monitoring actions add one more, the faithful email opener list. The last list is one that you will label “active followers”. These contacts are interested in your topics, so consider them ready for action.
2. Add a sign up for your monthly email tips and savings to your email signature line with a quick link to “like” you on facebook to all of your social media sites. 3. Use your facebook profile page to ask your friends and family to “like” your business page. Remember you get a custom URL with your name or your company name when you reach 25 “likes” or more. If you already have that, implement it so it is easier for folks to find you on Google and facebook.
