It can connect you with associates and people who can vouch for you when others are looking for someone to help them get the job done. It is a great way to build credibility and make new connections with folks that are doing business today and can connect you with a client that needs your services but first, they need to know what you do.
The first and most important feature to utilize on LinkedIn is filling out your resume and connecting with folks you do business with every day. Then review the folks that you’d like to do business with and invite them into your network.
Third, join groups of people who are likely to be working in your market and whom you would like to learn more about. Then join the conversation and share your knowledge or experience.
